Christmas concert supporting Freedom from Torture
Tonight, we were very pleased to be able to perform as part of a Christmas Concert in support of Freedom from Torture.
In the wonderful setting of St. Werbergh's Church in Chorlton, we were performing alongisde choral works, instrumental favourites and Christmas Classics.
Big thanks to everyone who supported the evening - and a Merry Christmas to all!
Congrats to Victoria and Richard
Yesterday, we were off to Eccleston village in Lancashire to play at the wedding of Victoria and Richard. The church was right by the river and looked beautiful in the morning sunlight.
Despite a hurried "Would you be able to play the hymns, as the organist is running late?" (he arrived in plenty of time in the end!) everything went according to plan.
Thanks to Victoria and Richard for asking us to play - it was a superb venue for a wedding!
Never in a bandstand
Well in our separate lives we've all played on band stands before, for various summer, outdoors concerts.
But I think today was a first for Coup - we played on a bandstand. And a lovely band stand it was too, in Weston Park in Sheffield.
Big congratulations to Claire and Glenn whose wedding it was today. A great location and a lovely feel to the whole event.

Congrats to Katy and Matt on their wedding day
We had the pleasure today of playing for Katy Cree and Matt Heavens at their wedding ceremony at The Ashes near Leek.
Piccadilly Place in Manchester
If you were wandering through the centre of Manchester during lunchtime today, you might have heard The Coupland Brass Quintet as we played for an event going on in Piccadilly Place.
